Patriots Accounts is a U.S. Department of the Treasury program. The National Design Studio designed and manages the public website at patriotsaccount.com. This Privacy Policy explains how the informational site and the external services it links to handle information.

1. Information We Collect

patriotsaccount.com is an informational site. The contact form and newsletter form send a message to our team by email. The site does not keep a user-account database. Cloudflare processes request and network metadata to host and deliver the site.

Download Redirect

When you visit /download, the application reads your browser's user-agent information to choose an Apple App Store or Google Play destination. It does not persist that information.

Provider Data

Cloudflare may process operational request data to deliver and protect the site.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

If you use the contact form we receive your name, email address and message. If you subscribe to the newsletter we receive your email address. Those details are emailed to our team and are not stored in a site database. We do not collect:

• Your mailing address or phone number through these forms
• Your child’s name, date of birth, or Social Security number
• Your or your child’s Social Security number, Taxpayer Identification Number, or other government IDs
• Financial account numbers, routing numbers, or payment information
• Tax return information or income data
• Health, medical, or educational records
• Precise device geolocation (GPS) data

Login Form redirects to app.patriotsaccount.com and an external government flow. Any information you provide there is handled under that destination's notices, not this policy.

3. How We Use Your Information

• Request metadata: Cloudflare uses it to host, deliver, and protect the site.
• Contact and newsletter submissions: to reply to you and to notify the team of a new subscriber.
• User agent at /download: To select an app-store destination without persisting the value.

4. Cookies & Local Storage

The site uses a short-lived session cookie so the contact and newsletter forms can confirm the request came from this site and show a success or error message. Provider-side storage may include:

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate patriotsaccount.com:

Cloudflare

Hosts and delivers the site and processes request and network metadata. Site fonts are self-hosted at runtime.

External destinations

The site links to the program and support sites, app.patriotsaccount.com, Treasury, the White House, publishers, YouTube, Apple's App Store, Google Play, and ndstudio.gov. Current videos are links to outside pages rather than embedded players. Each destination applies its own privacy practices.

6. Data Security

The current site is a static informational service with these concrete boundaries:

• HTTPS/TLS protects traffic to and from the site
• No user-account database; form messages are emailed to our team
• A session cookie only for form security and confirmation messages

You can:

• Use the site without submitting a form: Browsing and informational content work without an account. Contact and newsletter are optional.
• Choose external services separately: You decide whether to follow links to Form 4547, an app store, a publisher, YouTube, or another outside destination.
• Clear provider data: Clear cookies and site storage in your browser at any time.
